Hey hey happy Friday! Two weeks from today we will be waking up on baby Abe's very first Christmas morning. I might be too excited to sleep for the next two weeks. Some of my favorite ladies came over to decorate Christmas cookies last night, so I ate cookies for breakfast. And tonight I get to go see The Nutcracker with one of my sisters! It's going to be a late night. I hope I don't fall asleep. I also hope you get to really rest this weekend, and that sometime in the next two weeks you have cookies for breakfast too. Here are some of my favorite things from The Internet lately - just for you. Enjoy!
Just because I think this is more important than that CNN video of all the Trump supporters (eyeroll emoji).
My baby brother sent me this and it made me cry.
And then I sent him this because he recently borrowed my copy of Tenth of December and made me the proudest big sister on Earth.
And then my baby sister showed me this and I laughed and laughed.
"But when it was my turn to move something so divisive, and so important to me, out in front of voters, I did whatever I could to keep people from talking about it instead. I hid from it." Dang, somebody needs to introduce this Texan woman to Brené Brown.
This week I'm thankful for this and an introduction to that poem.
