Hey there. Happy Pi Day! According to wikipedia: "the earliest known official or large-scale celebration of Pi Day was organized by Larry Shaw in 1988 at the San Francisco Exploratorium, where Shaw worked as a physicist, with staff and public marching around one of its circular spaces, then consuming fruit pies." Larry Shaw sounds like a badass. I hope you have some fun Pi Day plans. If not, check this out at least. I bet it will make you smile. Also, here are my favorite things from The Internet lately - just for you. Enjoy!
Maybe next year I'll make this my Lenten commitment.
"...libraries remain the most trusted institution in the United States, ahead of the military, small businesses, the police or religious institutions." Boom.
Chicken and waffle bites. WHAT.
I've never been to Cora Faye's Cafe, but this sounds awesome.
Everything about this fascinates me, especially the fact that there are so many Vitamin Cottages. Who knew?
This one's for you, Kimbo. What do we gotta do to be there on opening day?
