Feeling Like A Road Dog

Good morning!  We're getting ready to hit the road again today, so I thought I'd share some of my photos from the last run of the spring tour with you. We had a lot of fun in Iowa, Illinois, and Missouri. I think the highlights were the Abe Lincoln Museum in Springfield, Illinois and the City Museum in St. Louis. You can call me Wingwalker Stockton from now on. If you want.

During the 2 weeks we've been home, I went to Sonoma for the weekend to celebrate my lifelong friend Jessie, who's getting married this summer, went to a super fun anthro event, held my newest little buddy Mason for the first time ever, gave myself a facial at my lovely friend Molly's Arbonne party, took a sewing 101 class at Fancy Tiger, celebrated Cinco de Mayo with some bomb fajitas my dad made (plus salsa and guac from scratch!), had ice cream with friends from my tap class, got the craziest (best) massage of my life at Symmetry, caught up on The Mindy Project, and watched The Hedgehog  (loved)This Is 40  (hated), Promised Land  (LOVED - the story is by Dave Eggers, after all), and Brave (liked). I also started the book Daring Greatly, by Brené Brown, but I'm going to have to buy it because I didn't finish it yet and I have to take it back to the library before we leave in an hour.

I'm feeling more and more like a road dog each time we leave. It gets a little bit easier to pack, to plan for making sure we're not throwing a bunch of food away, to know that people won't forget about me just because I don't see them in person for a few weeks. You know, details.

So off we go again. Here's hoping for lots of adventure, zero robberies, and a safe return in a few weeks.
