A Giveaway Tradition

I've been really struggling lately to come to terms with the fact that all of these instagram photos were taken a year ago. A year! I was in North Carolina and South Carolina and Alabama and DC and Lancaster, PA and Philly in November of 2012, and it seems like it was just a few weeks ago. Also, because I am sometimes a little bit hot-headed, I deleted that instagram account in February when the whole changing the terms of service kerfuffle happened. But then I created a new one a few months later (I'm @jloydstockton, if you want to see photos of the things I'm eating).

Anyway.

Last year while Dann and I were in Philly for Thanksgiving, I decided to do a giveaway because there's this one Christmastime thing that I think every person on the planet should enjoy this time of year. And because it was such a raging success and got me so much web traffic, I've decided to do it again. Just kidding about the web traffic. Three people entered, and they all lived in the same house.

In all seriousness, though, I am a firm believer in the idea that music has power. I believe that the soundtrack to A Charlie Brown Christmas has the power to bring joy and delight and hope and peace in what can sometimes be a stressful, overwhelming season. So I'd like to give it to you.

If you'd like to win, leave a comment below. I'll announce a winner next Monday.
